Description
Working in collaboration with the manager, the case manager is responsible for carrying out a complete certification dossier requiring several interactions with the client as well as with the manager or associate. In addition, the case manager will act as a resource person and trainer for the team under his supervision. He will also be called upon to answer various accounting questions from clients. The clientele consists mainly of SMEs from the metropolitan region
Overview of main responsibilities
- Effectively coordinate and supervise the work of team members under his supervision
-Perform the audit mission in accordance with the planning brief Validate the financial statements according to the presentation standards recommended by the firm
-Prepare tax returns Write detailed and practical letters of recommendation to clients
-Maintain good relationships with client management and staff
-Delegate the tasks to be performed to the team under his supervision so as to optimize the skills of each member of the team Constantly update your knowledge of accounting, auditing and tax standards through the internal training program Act as a trainer and motivator with the team throughout the mandate
Qualifications and skills required
-Relevant university education and accounting designation
-More than 5 years of experience in assurance in an accounting firm
-Excellent knowledge of MS Office software Knowledge of various specialized software such as CaseWare, CaseView and Taxprep (an asset)
Initiative, judgment, autonomy, ability to manage priorities, sense of customer service and strong interpersonal skills are essential qualities for the success of this position.
